Graham Crewe

About me

I am an experienced Business Studies, Economics and IT teacher with 10 years’ teaching experience in UK schools. Previously I worked for Ernst & Young, a major international firm of Chartered Accountants, as a trainee Chartered Accountant.

I took my CELTA qualification (Cambridge English Language Teaching for Adults) in September 2008. I was awarded the highest grade (Pass A) which is achieved by only 3% of candidates.

I have lived and worked in Salzburg since August 2006.

Since moving here I have taught freelance for BFi and WIFI. I also teach extensively inHAK1 Salzburg and HAK Hallein and from September 2010 at the Fachhochschule Salzburg (University of Applied Sciences).

Additionally I am a Cambridge Oral Examiner.

My teaching has included:

  • One-to-One Computing English (level A2*)
  • One-to-One Business English (various levels)
  • Support with preparing key presentations in English
  • Accounting English (focused on the oil industry) with a small group of employees from one of the world’s leading oil companies (levels B2 - C1)
  • Business English (focused on the oil industry) with small groups of employees at the same oil company (levels A1 - C1)
  • Technical English with 6 classes (various levels) at Kässbohrer, the international car transporter company
  • Cambridge BEC Vantage (Business English Certificate) (level B2)
  • Cambridge BEC Higher (Business English Certificate) (level C1)
  • Refresher English (level A2)
  • English for sales staff with a group of staff at Villeroy & Boch (level B1)
  • Berufsreifeprüfung (A Level) English
  • English for MBA (A2)
